The EVENING SCHOOL ON CARE, a performative event in the form of an evening school conceived by Lavanderia a Vapore with the co-curation of Elisabetta Consonni and Daniele Ninarello, took place from November 2-5, 2023. During the festival, we explored the educational paradigm and the transmission of knowledge. As an unofficial training endeavour, our focus was on so-called wet knowledge (as opposed to hard knowledge): a fluid and dynamic form of knowledge connected to the complexity of contemporary times, capable of shaping new worlds.<\/p>\n
This type of knowledge evades doctrines and institutional teachings; instead, it establishes new worlds often associated with groups and experiences of resistance and resilience. The school was characterized by its transversal and horizontal postures and provided a soft and open space. The program included workshops, performances, and a durational installation.<\/p>\n
The project was realized within the programme of On Mobilisation, co-funded by the European Union.<\/p>\n
