Artist and writer, Kalle Brolin, is starting his two-years long artistic research on Languages of Mobilisation (working title). During his residency at Baltic Art Center, he will be mapping historic and current peace movements on Gotland. Part of his research focuses on working on image-based encyclopaedia, documenting discoveries during the residency, while contributing to a local visual vocabulary of peace and military mobilisation on Gotland.

The first observations collected during his first stay on Gotland will be presented in On Languages and Landscapes of Mobilisation Symposium, on May 31st, 2023.
